| MAY MOSAICS WORKSHOP |
Join us for the last after school workshop of this school year. We will be
creating a mosaic piece that you can use for the wall or tabletop. We
will cover types of materials, tools and their use, tile setting, grouting,
sealing and finishing. Great for a “teacher gift”, or Father’s Day
present. This workshop is designed for all skill levels and uses the
concepts of color, shape and pattern to create a lasting piece of mosaic
art. The tesserae students will use to assemble their mosaic are all
colorful bits of glazed ceramic tile, but students should feel free to bring
any broken, favorite items to incorporate into their design!
Workshop Dates/Times: Fridays 3pm-5pm
May 11, 18, 25 and June 1st
